“We could have had no better tour designer than Larbi, owner and MD of Anzal Tours. The itinerary that he drew up maximised our time in the country, and allowed us to see places that we would have never been aware of had we travelled on our own. On our journey into the Sahara, we saw many wonderful sights and met some very interesting people. Our visit with a Bedouin family was one of the countless highlights of our trip and something that will live long in our memory. “Anzal Tours were recommended to us by a friend and they did not disappoint! We had a fantastic time in Morocco and I felt we got to see the 'real' Morocco away from the tourist trail. Hiking in the M'goun valley, as well as camels, a desert camp and dune buggies in the Sahara were particular highlights. Larbi's local knowledge, experience and patience made planning our trip easy. “We didn’t believe that anything could top our trip to the Sahara Desert, but it seems that the last day of our trip to Morocco did just that. We spent the day in a village 30 miles out of Marrakech, but it could have been 300 miles or 300 years if it wasn’t for the mobile phones. Starting with a welcome at ‘second breakfast’ and following with various activities of bread making, tagine and couscous cooking, brick and charcoal making, our pupils received a taste of the difficult but also simple and wholesome village life that many Moroccan’s still experience. The language barriers were overcome by ingenuity, games and food. We thank our wonderful hosts. We thank our guides, bus driver and teachers who kept us safe throughout our trip, as well as managing to use their connections and resourcefulness to return lost things! “SCHOOL TOUR We had an amazing time in Morocco. The students are still buzzing about it now and I am still receiving glowing thank yous from parents. The tour itinerary was near perfect for us. Highlights; camels, desert camp, village experience, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Marrakech souks. Accommodation great, especially Ibis. Majorelle OK (food decent). Caravanne Du Sud very good. Next time we'd probably opt to go deeper into the desert (4x4s) as long as we could still do the camel trek. BA flights excellent both ways - best option by far. Probably the defining factor towards the success of the trip was Larbi Anzal and his coach driver. Despite the chaos on the roads, Mohammed drove the coach smoothly and safely throughout - not once did we feel him have to brake hard - amazing! But Larbi is a gem. Calm, approachable, genuine and willing to open up his world for the benefit of his customers. The time in his village was magical - and felt special. One girl had her birthday on our return to Marrakech;beyond the call of duty! We will be going to Morocco again.”

“Overall, the cities tour of Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech was very good. Our driver Said was very professional, accommodating and spoke excellent English. We felt very well cared for by Said. Our guide in Fes (El Hadi) was very knowledgeable and courteous. Luckily, we had the services of our driver in Casablanca which made for seamless touring around the city. Our only disappointment was the fact that we had stressed twin bed accommodation to the tour company but this was not provided at some of our hotels. I would recommend Anzal Tours to friends and family members.”
